About FRIDAY

FRIDAY is a song I wrote the lyrics for while recording it. So it came out as honestly and genuinely as it came to me at the time.

For the beat, I sampled an old song I made back when I was living in Beijing during lockdown. In a room on the 20th floor with a huge circular window, with a view of a highway and other buildings, surrounded by millions, but all in our boxes, paranoid of each other.

I must say, it was great for introspection, video games and music.

I hope you'll enjoy it.
